Terms & Risk
Iridium is experimental, on-chain software. Read this before you play. By connecting a wallet and using Iridium you confirm you understand and accept everything below.
Iridium is a game of chance. Every round you can win or lose the SOL you deploy. Only ever deploy what you can afford to lose completely. Iridium is for entertainment — IRIDIUM is not an investment, and nothing here is financial advice.
Your funds are self-custodied
Iridium never holds, controls, or has access to your funds. SOL you deploy escrows into the round’s on-chain account; winnings are claimed directly by you. We cannot move, freeze, or recover your assets, and we cannot reverse a transaction. If you lose access to your wallet or its keys, your funds are unrecoverable — by anyone.
Game & financial risk
- Outcomes are random. Provably-fair means verifiable, not predictable — there is no strategy that guarantees a win.
- You can lose 100% of any SOL you deploy in a round where your cell does not win.
- IRIDIUM is a volatile token with no guaranteed value or liquidity. Its price can fall to zero.
- Rewards, fees, emissions, jackpot odds, and round timing are parameters that may change.
Smart-contract & technical risk
Iridium’s programs are on-chain and verifiable but not yet independently audited. On-chain software can contain bugs or vulnerabilities that result in loss of funds. Network congestion, RPC outages, wallet issues, or keeper downtime can delay or prevent rounds, deploys, or claims. The software is provided “as is,” with no warranty of any kind.
Network status
Iridium currently runs on Solana devnet for testing. Devnet SOL and devnet IRIDIUM are test assets with no monetary value. Balances, rounds, and history may be reset at any time. Mainnet terms will be published before any mainnet launch.
Eligibility & compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that using Iridium is legal where you live. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and must not use Iridium if doing so would violate any applicable law, including laws governing games of chance, gambling, or digital assets. Iridium is not offered to, and may not be used by, persons in jurisdictions where it is prohibited. We do not provide tax advice — you are solely responsible for any taxes arising from your use.
No liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers and contributors of Iridium are not liable for any loss or damage — including lost funds, lost profits, or lost data — arising from your use of the protocol, the software, or the underlying blockchain and wallet infrastructure. You use Iridium entirely at your own risk.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the protocol evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The latest version always lives on this page.
This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice, and is a draft pending legal review before mainnet. Read it alongside the About page.
